This initial version of the Global Youth Statement reflects the collective voices of young people from around the world advocating for urgent and equitable climate action. Over 30,000 children and youth have volunteered their voices and efforts to this year’s process, which have been collated into concrete demands across several thematic scopes.
The YOUNGO Strategic Policy Position presents the priorities and demands of the UNFCCC Children and Youth Constituency. It calls for urgent, inclusive climate action that centers youth voices across key areas like finance, adaptation, energy, and human rights, urging Parties and stakeholders to ensure meaningful youth participation in climate governance.
The NGO Major Group Position paper weaves together the vast experience and expertise of NGO Major Group members into a document that identifies barriers to achievement and makes concrete recommendations to advance progress on the SDGs under review.
