The first Global Stocktake (GST) will be a critical component of COP28. It’s the first time since the start of the implementation of the Paris Agreement that the world is undertaking a global assessment of the collective progress made to date and identifying critical challenges that need to be addressed to keep 1.5 within reach and leaving no one behind.
