About Me
Zurian Uthman Tiffa Daramy is a trained and qualified Development Studies student from MMCET Freetown and Njala University, Bo City. He has over a decade of experience working within communities, both as a professional and a dedicated volunteer.

Daramy currently serves as the Program Manager at the Centre for Community Impact and Sustainability (CCIS) and was a participant at the Inaugural Local Conference of Youth (LCOY) 2024 Sierra Leone. He is also the Coordinator of the Pan Africa Climate Justice Alliance (PACJA) Sierra Leone and a member of the Climate Change and Sustainable Development Consortium. Previously, he was the Program Coordinator for the National Climate Change Award 2023 and has served as the Youth Chairman of Masorie Village, Western Area Rural. Additionally, he coordinates the Pan Africa Daily TV Sierra Leone Chapter.

A passionate advocate for youth, women, and children, Daramy has been actively engaged in climate change initiatives, including tree planting, advocacy, and sustainable agriculture. Despite being a victim of war, he remained resilient, determined to uplift himself and his community.

His commitment to climate justice, humanitarian work, and youth empowerment has earned him numerous national and international accolades. He has been recognized as one of the Thirty Most Influential Youths in Western Area Rural District (three times), awarded Outstanding Youth Advocate, Youth Climate Change Champion of the Year, and named Best Humanitarian Youth Leader by the Climate Change Network Sierra Leone. Additionally, he holds titles as a Goodwill Ambassador, Youth and Child Ambassador.

Daramy remains steadfast in his mission to inspire and motivate young people, encouraging self-reliance, hard work, and a passion for serving humanity. He firmly believes that to create change, one must be the change they wish to see.
