SCALA aims to build adaptive capacity and reduce greenhouse gas emissions so that twelve countries in Africa, Asia, and Latin America and the Caribbean can meet targets outlined in their National Adaptation Plans (NAPs) and nationally determined contributions (NDCs) and contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
